Recent highlights
Mother's Day 2023: a day of tribute to the mothers of Paillant
In May 2023, RECIDEP organized an edition of Mother’s Day in Paillant. On the program: songs, prayers, slam poetry, performances by local artists, refreshments, and gift-giving. A warm day, placed under the sign of gratitude toward the mothers of the commune.
Celebration for senior citizens: honoring our elders
In December 2020, RECIDEP renewed its traditional celebration in honor of senior citizens. The commune’s elders, invited from the age of 70, were celebrated during a day of tribute, a way of recognizing a lifetime of work in the service of families and the community.
Opening of the Paillant library
On February 5, 2018, RECIDEP officially inaugurated the Paillant library, in the presence of regional figures. This long-prepared place now offers young people a space for reading and study in the heart of the commune.
Visit from AGIR members in Paillant
In October 2014, RECIDEP welcomed two members of AGIR, a French organization of retired professionals, invited by Father Voltaire and Dr. Jean-Mary. A meeting placed under the sign of shared experience and prospects for collaboration.
Books from Maastricht University for Paillant
In September 2012, books donated by Maastricht University were prepared and shipped to Haiti, to enrich the documentary resources available to the Paillant community.
More than 100 participants at the dental health training
In November 2011, the dental health training organized by RECIDEP, led by two doctors and hosted by the Catholic church of Paillant, brought together more than one hundred participants, a strong sign of the population’s interest in health matters.
